The use of LED strip lights has become increasingly popular of recent times. These incredibly versatile LED fittings can be used for accent lighting in the kitchen, outdoor decking, shelving, stairs and many other locations around your home. This month, we share with you a recent kitchen renovation where we used LED strip lights to create an attractive and luxurious look.

What’s On the Strip?

An LED strip light is a flexible piece of electrical wired tape that consists of a line of many LED chips. Up close, you can see the individual chips, however once the light is viewed from a far, it creates the illusion of a single strip of continuous light.

LED strip lights can be cut and measured to any size, can adhere to nearly any surface, are energy efficient and come in a large variety of colour options. They can also be weather resistant and can be used indoors, including wet areas (such as bathrooms) and also in outdoor areas.
